Roller Skating Event
The Women’s & Girls Roller Skating Event was organised to promote physical wellbeing, reduce social isolation, and create a fun, safe space for women and girls to connect and build confidence.
In partnership with St Basils, ReachOut2All, BHX Housing, and Uplift, the event also helped raise awareness of local support services and strengthened community partnerships.
Kids Market
The Kids Market was created to encourage creativity, entrepreneurship, and confidence by giving children and young people the opportunity to showcase and sell their products.
It also brought families together, supported young talent, and helped children develop valuable skills such as communication, teamwork, money management, and customer service.
Picnic & Football Tournament
The Football Tournament was organised to promote teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and positive community engagement.
It encouraged young people to stay active, build confidence, develop leadership and communication skills, and strengthen relationships through sport while fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion.
Women’s Business Event
The Women's Business & Community Networking Event was organised to bring women from diverse backgrounds together in a welcoming and supportive environment. The event aimed to help women promote their businesses, showcase their products and services, and increase their visibility within the local community.
It also sought to reduce social isolation by creating meaningful opportunities for women to connect, share experiences, and build supportive friendships. Through networking and collaboration, participants were encouraged to exchange ideas, inspire one another, and develop their confidence and entrepreneurial skills.
By strengthening community connections and promoting positive social interaction, the event contributed to improving wellbeing and mental health while empowering women to become more active and engaged within their communities.
